Drew has been in the outdoor industry for well over a decade now. While in college at the University of Iowa, he taught credited classes in remote backpacking and wilderness first aid for the university’s outdoor education program. Summers between semesters were spent as a fly-fishing guide in the Driftless region of Iowa and Wisconsin. After graduating from U of I in 2008 with a fine art degree in photography, Drew became a full-time fly-fishing guide. This passion and profession led him to guide clients on the western rivers of Colorado, the endless flats of the Florida Keys and Everglades, and the famous tailwaters of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Tennesse and North Carolina. Missing the prairies and rolling hills of the Midwest, Drew returned to his hometown of Galesburg, IL to pursue a career with his photography degree. He works as an inhouse media creator for LandGuys, travelling to listings and using his expertise to make your land look it’s best. When he doesn’t have a camera in hand, you can bet he’s exploring the creeks of the Driftless region or the Spoon River valley with a fly rod in hand.
