Northwest Illinois—Gateway to Sportsman’s Paradise

The entrance signs to several Northwestern Illinois towns boasts “Gateway to Sportsman’s Paradise.”

The Northwest is a region filled with opportunity for large game, such as trophy whitetail bucks, as well as for all manner of waterfowl, as they seasonally take advantage of migratory waterways.

Here, a bird’s eye view of the Mississippi Waterway near Galena, Illinois, and the captivating scenery just north, at French Island, give credibility to the name “Sportsman’s Paradise.”

Make time this fall to visit the treasures in Northwest Illinois and discover your own “Sportsman’s Paradise” through a discussion with you regional LandGuy.
