About Chase

Chase Burns is a licensed real estate managing broker and auctioneer, in Illinois, and is a true “land specialist”. His background, and education from Southern Illinois University, makes him an expert in wildlife biology. He is also a certified Level 3 Deer Steward, and a forest and wildlife habitat management expert. In addition, Chase is a highly experienced tillable farmland broker, having spent an entire year working for a private equity investment firm, researching, buying and selling tillable farm land. In that time, he performed valuations on over 300 separate farms and attended more than 185 farmland auctions, across Illinois and eastern Iowa. His knowledge of farmland values, and what to look for in a quality land investment, places him among the leading experts on farmland sales and investing in the Midwest. Chase is a graduate of the World Wide College of Auctioneering. He specializes in marketing and selling hunting properties, tillable and pasture land, and homes on rural acreages. His experience is broad, having listed and sold properties ranging in value from $25,000 to over $6 million. It is this experience, along with his moral integrity and a heart to serve, that make him a great broker to work with. Chase is also owner of Dogwood Land Management, which offers comprehensive land management services for premier hunting properties across Illinois, and eastern Iowa.  Chase attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale where he studied wildlife biology, and holds a Level II Deer Steward certification.Additionally, he is part of the professional team which produces a show called The Management Advantagewhere he is regularly featured as an expert on whitetail deer, and habitat manipulations geared at attracting, growing and holding other wildlife.Chase , also, volunteers a great deal of time for the Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA), and other conservation initiatives.  He serves as President of the West Central Illinois Branch, and of the Illinois State Chapter of the QDMA, and has been nationally recognized with the award of “Branch President of the Year” by the organization.  Chase also serves on the Advisory Council for the Illinois Habitat Fund, which determines how Habitat Stamp dollars are spent by the IDNR.On a personal note, Chase is a devoted father and follower of Christ. He and his wife – Jackie are raising their two boys on their own intensively managed hunting property, and are active members of the First Baptist Church of Aledo, IL.

Chase Burns defines “Above and Beyond”. My husband and I moved to Illinois from California, in the middle of an extended winter. Chase was amazing. We described the little farmhouse with acreage that we were dreaming about, and Chase found it. But, he didn’t want us to fly all the way to Illinois without seeing interior photos and having a full report, so he went out of his way to tour the property and sent us tons of pics and a full review, including info on the septic, roof and plumbing.
