A primary bedding ridge extends off the main field. This south-facing ridgetop has been kept largely as sanctuary, with pockets of timber stand improvement completed to improve security cover and hold more deer. The main ravine features a smaller food plot and water hole. Picture this spot in early November when bucks are cruising.

South of the cabin, the ridge narrows into a saddle, creating a natural travel corridor. A stand here overlooks the valley plot more than 100 yards below. A small opening with water hole near the end of the ridge adds even more hunting options.
